This final of three workshops in the series led by Movement for a Better Internet representatives will aim towards finalizing the outputs of the program stream: an actionable political strategy for promoting and protecting the principles and potential of the decentralized web in the face of increasingly skeptical policymakers.
This session will focus on weaving together the panel discussion and first two workshops into an action plan for further policy work. Participants will have the opportunity to coordinate and connect on next steps for carrying forward the lessons of DWeb Camp.

Christopher Lewis:
Chris is President and CEO at Public Knowledge. Prior to being elevated to President and CEO, Chris served for as PK’s Vice President from 2012 to 2019 where he led the organization’s day-to-day advocacy and political strategy on Capitol Hill and at government agencies.
Catherine Stihler OBE:
Catherine has been an international champion for openness as a legislator and practitioner for over 20 years. Born in Scotland, Catherine was educated at St Andrews University, where she was awarded a Master of Arts (MA) with Honours in Geography and International Relations, and later a Master of Letters (MLitt) in International Security Studies.
Danny O'Brien:
Danny is Senior Fellow and DWeb Strategy at the Filecoin Foundation and the Filecoin Foundation for the Decentralized Web. He has been a tech journalist, developer, and activist for online free speech, privacy, and an open internet for over 20 years.
Ross Schulman:
Ross is a Senior Fellow, Decentralization, at EFF
Nicholas P. Garcia:
Nick is a Policy Counsel at Public Knowledge, focusing on net neutrality and broadband access and affordability. Before joining Public Knowledge, Nick served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Investigations Division of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted cybercrime, fraud, grand larceny, and organized crime.
